Joe Rogan vs Joe Rogan

Joe needs to stay out of politics. If you don't follow Joe Rogan, you really should. Podcasts are the future, the amount of reach that people like Rogan and Adam Carolla reach excel even the wettest fantasy of the Main-Stream-Media.

For those that don't follow Rogan, he has an open mind and will basically listen to anybody on any subject which is a great asset.

The problem is that Joe Rogan is a fucking lunatic. Weed is NOT healthy for you. It never has been. It tanks your testosterone, screws with your mind and generally has long term consequences on your health.

In before, "I was cured of cancer."

The THC content of curing ailments may be an article for future discussion and I can't disagree with some results. However, it's not disputed that weed is just as bad if not worse than alcohol.

It has been suggested that marijuana is at the root of many mental disorders, including acute toxic psychosis, panic attacks (one of the very conditions it is being used experimentally to treat), flashbacks, delusions, depersonalization, hallucinations, paranoia, depression, and uncontrollable aggressiveness. Marijuana has long been known to trigger attacks of mental illness, such as bipolar (manic-depressive) psychosis and schizophrenia. This connection with mental illness should make health care providers for terminally ill patients and the patients themselves, who may already be suffering from some form of clinical depression, weigh very carefully the pros and cons of adopting a therapeutic course of marijuana.

In the short term, marijuana use impairs perception, judgment, thinking, memory, and learning; memory defects may persist six weeks after last use. Mental disorders connected with marijuana use merit their own category in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) IV, published by the American Psychiatric Association. These include Cannabis Intoxication (consisting of impaired motor coordination, anxiety, impaired judgment, sensation of slowed time, social withdrawal, and often includes perceptual disturbances; Cannabis Intoxication Delirium (memory deficit, disorientation); Cannabis Induced Psychotic Disorder, Delusions; Cannabis Induced Psychotic Disorder, Hallucinations; and Cannabis Induced Anxiety Disorder.

In addition, marijuana use has many indirect effects on health. Its effect on coordination, perception, and judgment means that it causes a number of accidents, vehicular and otherwise. [Source]

People don't want to hear this fact...well too bad it's true. We all have our vices and in a perfect planet, we would have none. However, if you are going to pick a vice...you should stay away from weed. Have you never wondered why the '"elites'" keep pushing weed use?

That's because it makes people complacent against rebellion.

The main psychoactive ingredient in marijuana makes lab rats lazy, according to University of British Columbia researchers.

The new research, published on Tuesday in the Journal of Psychiatry and Neuroscience, looked at the effects of both THC – the drug’s main active ingredient – and the non-psychoactive compound cannabidiol, or CBD, on the male lab rats’ willingness to exert cognitive effort.

Rats usually preferred the harder, but more rewarding, task. But after being dosed with THC, the same rats picked the easier task.

Tell me again why people should smoke weed?
